I held the future today
And now I know we’ll find a

Forget the economy, the
global dept
I know we’ll find a way just
yet
The future smiled at me, and
I knew
There is so much that we can
do
Besides giving up and
falling back
The future holds so much we
lack
Hoping and believing is
enough
Better than our sorry bluff
In a baby’s happy smile
I know the future will be
worthwhile
